The Honeycrisp apple was produced from a 1960 cross of Macoun and Honeygold, as part of the University of Minnesota apple breeding program. The skin of a Honeycrisp is mottled red over a yellow background. The fruit has an exceptionally crisp, sweet and juicy texture. PRODUCT CODE: 1343
